Surgical Osteotomes

The bone sculpting chisels are called Osteotomes they are used to cut a window in the bone cortex to allow harvesting of pure soft bone The chisels are stainless steel, made from an inclined plane (called the blade) attached to a straight handle. A surgeon forces the chisel into the to make a window. A mallet may be used to drive the chisel.
