Surgical Burnishers

Burnishers are used at the end of dental restoration process. They are used to accentuate grooves and to shave off excess fins. It is used to smooth off and polish the restoration. It also removes the scratches left on the amalgam surface by a carving instrument. The working ends of the burnishers are smooth and rounded. They may be single ended or double ended.
