Working of Ointment Making Machine
The ointment machines consist of a steam jacketed manufacturing vessel or a planetory mixer with agitators and homogenizers for efficient and high quality blending of particles into a consistent paste. Both phase vessels are jacketed and are provided with motor driven propeller type of agitators that allows for thorough mixing. Once the preparation gets over in both the vessels, they are further transfered to the main ointment manufacturing vessel by opening respective vessels. This shifting is done with the help of filters and pipelines because the vacuum created within the main vessel makes the job quite easy. Finally, the finished end product is shifted to storage vessels by means of the bump pump. This pharmaceutical machine is also equipped with wax / water face mixing vessels and CIP and SIP systems for easy cleaning. Large volume storage tanks help to store the ointment/pastes so formed.
