Sugar Coating Process
The basic idea is to apply several layers of sugar on the surface of the tablets and pills which in turn provides better protection and taste for these tables and pills. The sugar coating vessel or pot is kept at a higher height, allowing electric heater or gas to be placed directly under it. The process starts with the pre-heating of the solution in the coating vessel and then allowing the product to be coated in it. When many layers of sugar are applied, the particles remain in the process until the required coating thickness is attained and then the end product is dried and cooled. To sugar coat the tablets, spray coating machines are also used. There are different coating techniques.
