Getting the Right Fit
After a patient is prescribed the bariatric wheelchair most patients will need to go to a special medical supply store to check the proper dimensions, as prescribed by the doctor. Here are some points, that need to be considered:
- Seat height: Which is the height from the seat to the floor.
- Seat Width: This is the measurement of the seat across. Doctors will require the measurements to leave at least an inch on each side of the patient.
