
The emergency drug trolley is a small closed trolley with wheels. This emergency drug trolley is kept at the drug dispensing station located centrally so that it can be pulled easily to the operation room or any other room if an emergency occur. The emergency trolley is complete with all emergency equipments, supplies and drugs available (oxygen, ambubag, face mask, suction etc.) in all client care areas including operating room. It is also considered as a multipurpose trolley for ICUs and OTs.
The emergency drug trolley is also known as crash cart trolley. The crash cart trolley is usually mounted on four wheels with brakes. There are shelves with built in drawers, boxes in a crash cart trolley for storing gadgets and appliances and emergency drugs. The trolley is constructed so as to fit in all emergency equipments. Moreover, the trolley has provisions for electric massage board, SS IV rod, electric lamp with clamp, cardiac massage board etc. Separate cages are fixed on to the trolley to fit in oxygen cylinders.
