A hospital bedside screen acts as a partition. It is a movable device, especially a framed construction such as a room divider designed to divide, conceal, or protect. A bedside screen can be plain , simple as well as decorative. A bedside screen is widely used in hospitals when the doctor examines a patient in his private chamber or in the patient's room in the hospitals. The screen can also be used in the operation room or the changing room of the doctors and nurses. There are wide variety of creative choices for bedside screens. Hospital bedside screen can be of two types:
Metal Screen with Curtains: Metal Screen with Curtains is the most common type of screen used in hospitals. It is simple and easy to use and maintain. The tubular frame of the metal screen is made of various materials like Iron, Steel, Wrought Iron, Aluminum etc. The frame can be painted or powder coated . The metal bedside screen can be of three or four folds. Attached with wheels for easy mobility. Supplied with spring wire and curtains.
The curtains are plain self color and made of various fabrics which are thick and washable. The screens are foldable.

Wooden Screen: The wooden bedside screen is made of various types of wood like Timber, Oakwood, Plywood, Veneer etc. The hospital wooden screen has various type of finishes. There are five common types of wood finishes. They are: Oil, Varnish and Polyurethane, Shellac, Lacquer, Water-based Finishes.
There are some large wooden bedside screen, covered with leather. Some wooden bedside screen come with carved designs.
