Technology Used in Indian Pharmaceutical Machinery
The Indian Pharmaceutical Machinery industry has earned the reputation of being the hub for low-cost manufacturing of drugs. The reasons behind this is the availability of cost-efficient man power, highly skilled and experienced engineers and low capital investment on plant and machinery. India has shown remarkable progress in the growth in up-gradation and advancement of technology in machinery. Today the country is the forefront to offer value added engineering with integration of new technologies. Many foreign companies fond it cost effective to work in the form of collaborative ventures with Indian partners. The number of joint ventures between international and Indian machinery manufacturers is a proof of the fact that the Indian manufactures of machineries understands the stringent needs of pharmaceutical industry. Indian manufacturers can produce international quality at affordable prices.
It is significant to note that India and China are making machines which are 10-20 times less expensive than machines produced in the US and Europe. However India cannot match with German made machines which are of very high quality and it is difficult for Indian manufacturers to produce machines that match German quality. But still Indian machines are far better than their foreign counterparts. Naturally most companies spread all across the globe turn towards India when it comes to buying high-quality-low-cost Pharmaceutical Machinery.
With the use of high grade raw material and cutting edge technology, the pharmaceutical machines and equipments are made. Owing to its technical expertise, India in also in a position to provide these machines in customized specifications to meet the varied requirements of customers all over. In future
it will not be surprising to find pharmaceutical machines manufacturers waging an all-out war in the market to gain a competitive leverage, with little or no time to design and their manufacturing processes efficiently, which would possibly slash their production costs and increase their bottom line. This is a scenario, wherein the Indian machinery will come handy. Like IT, the Indian machinery industry is all set to make way in the various markets of the world to lead a manufacturing revolution.
Indian pharmaceutical-machine makers and their foreign counterparts increasingly are exploring various collaborations and partnerships with each other to share new technology, to innovate and develop new technology. Together, they are targeting more price conscious developing countries.
