If you throw away your used old picture frames or sell them out- like the iron picture frames - as scrap, re consider and reuse them. There are many ways to reuse old frames. Here we list some of the things that you can do with old picture frames.
Reuse Old Frames to Make Message Board

Reuse Old Frame for Message Board
You can use a large picture frame to make a message board.

Detach the glass of your old frame.
Take a quilted batting and fit over the cardboard.
Cut a piece of fabric that is big enough to go over the batting. Fold it around the back of the cardboard. Secure the things with staples.
Now put your old frame over the cardboard. Your new message board made from old frame is all ready to be used- just hang it on the wall.
You can even use colorful paper instead of fabric so that you can write your messages on it. However, you will need to change the paper too often.

As far as the glass of the picture frame is concerned, think some other creative idea to reuse the same.

Reuse Old Frames to Make Fabric Art Collage
You can gather all your fabric scraps that you have preserved while sewing clothes or you can get them from some garment manufacturing store by paying negligible amount (they can even give away these fabric pieces without taking any money). You can even use inexpensive artwork like beautiful floral prints etc. purchased from local crafts store to make an art collage from old picture frame. If you do not want to make collage, you can simply wrap the old frames in beautiful fabrics and hang them on wall in different shapes and sizes.

You will need a bigger picture frame for making his tray.

Detach the glass from the old frame.
Place fabric over the cardboard just as you would have done the picture.
Put the glass and frame back together.

Its that simple and you now have a beautiful decorative tray!

If you have many old frames whose glasses have broken, you can simply hang them in patterns to get attractive wall decor for your porch or even for your living room. Arrange smaller frames withing big frames or mix and match old round frames with oval shaped frames. If you want a designer picture frame made out of your old frames, paint them a little with contrasting or matching colors with your wall color and see how beautiful they look as innovative wall art.
