-
Paintbrush
-
Styrofoam
-
Utility knife
-
Craft glue
-
Candle
-
Artificial Autumn leaves
-
Artificial Fall Flowers
Instructions
Step 1
First of all you need to get a wooden candle stand from the local craft store. Make sure that the candle stand is at least 4 or more inches tall.
Step 2
Now paint this wooden candle stand using acrylic paints and a painting brush. One can paint stand fall colors or create a unique artistic design as per choice. Once painted, let it dry thoroughly.
Step 3
Next, cut out a piece of Styrofoam to use it as the base of the centerpiece. You can use a utility knife to cut the Styrofoam sheet in any whichever size or shape you need. Though make sure it is big enough to let the candle stand sit in the middle with ample amount of space left for attaching the fall leaves onto it.
Step 4
Now stick the base of the candle stand onto the Styrofoam using craft glue. Be sure that the candle stand is stuck right in the middle of the Styrofoam. Let the glue dry completely first then add a candle onto the top of the candle holder.
Step 5
Start sticking the fall leaves around the candle stand by pressing the stem of the artificial leaves and fall flowers on the Styrofoam. It would be wise to start pressing in the fall leaves and flowers from around the base of the candle stand and then work it out towards the edges of the Styrofoam, covering every inch of it with the add ons. You are done with a beautiful autumn candle stand!
