Welding Goggles

Goggles or spectacles should be worn for proper eye protection during welding. Welding process yields hazardous materials like molten metal, flying particles, liquid chemicals, chemical gases or vapours, acids, highly infected contaminants or harmful light rays. Eyes of the welder needs to be protected against these welding hazards. Goggles worn during welding should allow air to circulate between the eye and the lens.

Besides welders, there are some goggles designed for being used by viewers. These goggles are made of shade 2 lenses. There are various types of goggles or spectacles available based on their use in particular welding process. They are also available in various designs and finishes.
