Friction Stud Welding Machine

This machine is mainly used for friction stud welding process. It is a type of friction welding process that was originally developed for naval and military applications.

Welding Process
The welding process was largely used for military rockets. The process makes use of studs that help to keep the solid fuel of the rocket intact and maintain proper distance between the shells of the rocket.In navy, the use of the friction stud welding equipment was confined to shallow water applications including external blanking of sea chests, anode attachment, temporary attachment point for rigging, etc.
