The machine is chiefly used for furnace brazing process. Furnace brazing is a joining technique, wherein blending of materials is accomplished with the help of furnace heat and using a non ferrous filler metal. The filler metal needs to have a melting point above 427^oC, but lower than that of base metals.

The process involves using various types of furnaces using either vacuum or gaseous atmosphere. In the process, the filler metal is distributed in the joint by means of capillary action.

Various materials can be joined by using furnace brazing machine. Furnace brazing is more suitable for value added components. It is advisable to avoid high vapour pressure elements like; zinc, lead, cadmium, etc. in vacuum brazing.

Machine Details
The furnace of the machine is constructed on the basis of either batch type or continuous operation. Batch operation makes use of retort type of furnace for hydrogen brazing. Vacuum chambers are used for vacuum brazing. The most widely used fillers for furnace brazing are based on silver, copper, nickel and gold.
