Stud Arc Welding machine is used for stud welding processes. Stud welding is a type of arc welding process, which causes fusion of metals by heating them with an arc between a metal stud or similar part and the work piece. It can also be referred to as a type of spot welding process.

Working Principle
The working of the stud arc welding machine involves placing the metal stud against the base metal. This is accomplished with the control of the machine and the design of the stud. Then an arc is drawn that melts the base of the stud and a considerable area of the base metal. The metal stud is then pushed into the molten basin and held in place until the materials re-solidify. This type of high quality fusion weld is completed in milliseconds.
