• The apparatus features a direct cooling system, which reduces the need for solvent cooling baths.
• The instrument meets standard international specifications.

• There are two stages of cooling system in the instrument. One-stage cooling system offers temperatures as low as -35° C and a two-stage cooling system down to -70° C.
• The instrument is easy to install.

• There is a sample tube, in which the sample is cooled with continuous stirring until crystals appear.
• The instrument is equipped with a dynamic measurement system, which emits a light pulse every 0.5° C from a coaxial fiber optic cable positioned above the test sample.
• The light pulse is then reflected back of a silvered-bottom test jar to an optical sensor.
• There is an advanced software package for analyzing the response of the light pulse.
• There is a light scattering system that monitors the initial appearance of crystallization.
• Then the sample is heated up and the temperature at which the hydrocarbon crystals disappear is recorded as the freezing point.
• The equipment is suitable for measuring all types of clear and transparent fuels irrespective of the sample color.
