Testing of paints to determine their resistance to environmental elements is very important. There are various factors that, which may corrode or damage paint surfaces. Corrosion occurs in coated surface as a result of prolonged exposure to water or natural environment.

Corrosion Cabinet is an important apparatus used to perform corrosion resistance test of paints and coatings. It is also known as salt spray tester.

Salient Features

The equipment consists of a large cabinet, which is made of finely polished fiberglass reinforced polyester.
The cabinet consists of a control panel and an electrical circuitry.
Also provided with a compressed air saturator and a salt solution pump.
There is an exposure chamber, which includes a water slot and is covered by a transparent glass cover.
There is also a solution tank with a filter.
