Cement Autoclave

Cement autoclave is suitable for conducting accelerated soundless tests on cement. It provides an accelerated means of estimating delayed expansion of Portland cement caused by hydration of Calcium Oxide, Magnesium Oxide or both.

Salient Features

• The equipment consists of a steel cylinder with a welded heated insulation.
• It is mounted on a sturdy supporting frame and enclosed in a heat insulated metal closet, which is finished in an attractive paint.
• The control unit is attached to the side of the housing enclosing a sensitive pressure regulator safety valve and pressure gauge, power switch and pilot lights for controlling the electric heating unit.
• A thermometer, wrench and a package of 5 gaskets are also included with the machine.
• The apparatus is supplied with test bar holder rack to hold complete specimens but without shrinkage bar.
• It is suitable for operation on 220 V single phase A.C.
