Mounted on a wooden panel, the equipment is commonly used in cement industries and testing laboratories for determining the fineness of cement and concrete.

The apparatus is used for determining the fineness of cement in terms of specific surface expressed as total surface area in square centimeters per gram of cement. This is a variable flow type air permeameter.

Salient Features

The apparatus consists of a "U" tube manometer with a built in stop cock, a stainless steel permeability cell, a perforated metal disk, a stainless steel plunger, a rubber stopper, and a rubber tube with rubber bulb.
The apparatus is mounted on a finished wood panel with rubber-footed base.
Consists of a packet of 12 filter paper discs and a bottle of 100 cc dibutylphthalate liquid.

Spare accessories of the apparatus include :
A wooden stand with 'U' tube monometer with stop cock.
A permeability cell complete with perforated metal disc, non -perforated disc and plunger.
