A dehumidifier removes moisture from the air. They are essential as they protect from damp and mould and subsequently from the damage caused by them in damp storage spaces. They can be used as effectively in home and at work place.
The principle of a dehumidifier is that it condenses the hot air on to the cold surface. A fan draws the humid air over the cold surface, the air condenses and the humidity is released in the form of water and the air is then passed over the hot surface to rise the temperature to original.
