Cryogenic Tanks

Share  |

The storage of bulk quantity of liquid gases, such as nitrogen, argon and oxygen, for industrial applications require the use of big cryogenic tanks. These tanks has capacities ranging from 100 lts to 100000 lts storage and 5000 to 30000 lts mobile tanks.

Despite of the need to be thermally insulated, these tanks are often installed in non sheltered areas and therefore maintaining the necessary vacuum insulation is a challenging tasks. In fact, due to the dimensions of the vessel water condensing on the inner wall and hydrogen outgassing from the outer wall are quite significant.

Cryogenic tanks add value to the industry by effecting large savings on vital equipment, ensuring reliability through quality and servicing the industry through innovative solutions.

Characteristics of Cryogenic Tanks

  • Inner vessels are made of stainless steel
  • Outer vessels have vacuum perlite insulation system because of its proven reliability.
  • Valves are made of brass or stainless steel.
  • Inner tank is equipped with two safety valves and two bursting discs.
  • It also consists of a vacuum braker.
  • Rigid stainless steel piping.
  • Pressure regulator and economizer.
  • Pressure raising.
  • Content level and pressure gauge.
  • Easy and reliable vacuum measurement
