Spacing Washers

Spacing washers are required when the sealing washers on both sides need to be relubricated. It consist of two washers, one for mounting in the housing bore and another for mounting on the shaft. Spacing washers are made of sheet steel or other convoluted ductile, high strength metal alloys and are coated with preservatives. They are available in machined, welded and open ring variations. An adjustable spacer is used as a spring washer replacement for assemblies requiring accurate bearing settings, including preload.
