Tube Insert

Tube inserts are a type of tube fittings used to retain the shape of a tube and also help to make a better seal between the outside diameter of the tube and the 'O' ring. These fittings also make the tube more rigid. Using a tube insert becomes all the more necessary if the tube is used in warm water. These inserts are available in a range of shapes (round, square, rectangular) and materials such as stainless steel, plastic, brass etc depending on the kind of application and industry they are used for. The tube gauge of plastic tube insert can vary from 1mm to 5mm and are available in shades of white, black, natural. Metallic inserts are plated with zinc, chrome or nickle to provide a superior finish and also prevent corrosion.
