Female connectors are used in piping of tube to female pipe thread fittings in order to provide tight, secure and leak-free connections and are widely used in applications requiring high operating pressures (ranging from 6000 to 15000psi). These connectors are made of materials such as brass, stainless steel, monel and are ideally suited for being used in liquids and gas. These female connectors are available in both metric and inches unit and are available in NPT, tapered and parallel designs and specifications. These tube fittings are often plated with chrome or nickel for enhanced appearance and prevention of corrosion.
