Non-Return Valves

Non-Return Valves allow air to pass in one direction while preventing flow in the other direction. These are thus used in those places where a back flow of product in pipelines must be avoided. The non return valves open as soon as the pressure under the valve seat is greater than the counter pressure. When the pressure is balanced, the closing operation is started by spring action so that the valve is closed with an increase in pressure on the spring side. These plastic valves are designed for a particular maximum pressure

 

Non-Return Valves that are made of stainless steel is intended for welding into stainless piping. The valve is assembled with clamp ring and has spring loaded valve flap with cone shaped contact face. The standard valve is fitted with EPDM seals, but other sealing material can be supplied as required. The valve can be supplied in a 3A version and this comes with clamp collar studs at one end.

 

Non return valves find their applications in many industries like the brewing and drinks industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
