Extruded Angles

Extruded angles are another popular item to be made of the extrusion process. Here also the most popular item is aluminium followed by plastics. From building and construction, engineering equipment extruded angles are used everywhere. In the following section are discussed extruded angles according to the material type.

 

Extruded Aluminium Angles
In the category of extruded aluminium angles the following are some of the popular shapes. The first example is of angle with equal legs.

Angle with equal legs
It has a wall thickness of 3/16 inches, height of 11/2 inches and width of 11/2 inches.

Angle with unequal legs
The next example has a wall thickness of 1/16 inches, height of 1 inch and width of 11/2v inches.
Extruded aluminum angles are quite popular in grating applications in the building industry. They can be manufactured using aluminium 6063 T6. These extruded angles, because of the importance of application are made anti corrosion and customized to any length.

Extruded Steel Angles
Coming to the extruded angles made of stainless steel, they are used in a variety of applications. The following image shows extruded steel angles for constructing bar screen, used in water treatment applications.

Extruded Plastic Angels
Another popular material through which extruded angles are produced includes the plastic materials. Plastic angle extruded profiles are an excellent way for a number of applications.
