Brazing is a preffered metal joining process which creates a metallurgical bond between filler metal and surface being joined. The process is widely used to fabricate metal, air conditioning pipes and refrigeration equipment. It specifically find application in joining copper tubing to return bends, copper tubes to headers and fins, and tube bundles to shells. Brazing joins both similar and dissimilar metals, thin and thick sections, and metals of widely differing melting temperatures.
