Movable bridge

Movable bridge as the name suggests allows the bridge to change position in whole or in part to allow traffic to pass below or around them. All movable bridges must be properly maintained at regular intervals to withstand the forces of heavy traffic, aging, weather, and other factors that can weaken their structural integrity. Movable bridges must also endure the additional stresses of motion. Gears are important components used in such bridges. The machinery, gears, and lift and locking mechanisms are essential for movable bridges. There are a number of gears with specific purposes used on a movable bridge. Infact the power to move a movable bridge is transmitted by gears and gear drives. Usually two kinds of gear drives are used in a movable bridge. Open gears which consist of mating gears mounted on shafts and these are supported by bearings in various forms. The other type of gear used is the enclosed gearing consisting of gearboxes enclosing and supporting gear sets which are also mounted on shafting.

Petroleum industry
When we talk about petroleum industry, it implies an industry which is involved in the process of extraction, exploration, refining, transporting of petroleum and petroleum products. It also involves the marketing of petroleum products. Gears are widely used in the industry. In every process of petroleum extraction and exploration, gear power transmission equipments have been used. Gears and gear equipments support all different aspects of the petroleum exploration process. Gear peripherals are used in different processes. In some operators, which are used for manufacturing petroleum products, different gears like bevel gears, spur gears, planetary gears etc. are used. These gears are used in the valves functioning of pipes and tubes. Gears are used in power transmission and speed reduction on a drilling rig and pumper.

Plastics Industry
Plastic industry refers to that industry which is involved in the activities like manufacturing polymer materials, building construction, covering sectors from household commodity to polymer. Plastic industry also include fields like petrochemicals, biochemicals, ceramics etc. Plastic industry covers a large area ranging from electronics to aerospace industry and that is why the industry has a huge business potentiality over the other associated industries. In plastic industry, there is a wide range of gears and gear equipments used in different manufacturing processes involved in this industry.

Rubber Industry
Rubber Industry is a major industry producing rubber and rubber products. Rubber industry is an established industry in India and Asian countries. A frequently used material today, rubber is known for its elastic properties. Rubber is of two types; natural and synthetic. Rubber is naturally produced by rubber plants that can be obtained and it can also be produced synthetically . Gars, gearboxes, gear pumps have been widely used in extrusion, formation of rubber hand have received a great deal of attention in the rubber industry as it has moved into the mainstream of the industry. Gears are used in a myriad of applications, including cast and blown film, sheet, extrusion coating, pipe, palletized, tubing, and continuous blow molding in the processing and manufacturing of rubber.
