Q1. Is there any difference between filtered water and softened water?
Ans. Water softeners don't remove any contaminants from water. They only softens water by removing carbonates, like CaCo3 and MgCo3. However the water filters remove variety of contaminants from water and make them hygienic for drinking purpose. Different water filters are efficient in removing some specific type of impunities.
Q2. Is filtered water good for babies?
Ans. Of course, filtered water are advantageous for babies. They get a lot of benefits from filtered water. For example the filtered water doesn't contain heavy metals such as lead and copper. Nevertheless, drinking water for babies must be boiled whether it is general or filtered water.
Q3. How effective is Reverse Osmosis filtration compared to other filtration technology?
Ans. Reverse Osmosis is the most effective water filtration technology among all others. Water is passed through a semi permeable membrane, which is rated at 0.0001 micron. This technology is used for making bottled water. They effectively remove the unwanted minerals and elements from water and make it fit fir drinking. The RO filters are preferred over other because they can filter the most finer and dissolved substances.
Q4. Is the use of bleach is good to clean the ceramic filters?
Ans. No, bleach isn't good to clean the ceramic filters. To clean your ceramic filters, at first soak the cartridge in water with a few drops of dish washing soap, then scrub it with a soapless dish cleaning pad.
Q5. What is distilled water?
Ans. The water obtained after the distillation process is distilled water. Water is heated to the boiling point and the steam is collected and cooled in a separate pot to collect the pure water. The contaminants remain as residue in the boiling vessel. In the process, biological contaminants (bacteria, parasites, cysts, and viruses), organic and inorganic chemicals, heavy metals, volatile gases, and other contaminants are removed from water and the distilled water doesn't contain any solids, minerals, or trace elements. It is the only water purification method that remove virtually all contaminants.
Q6. What are the benefits of drinking Ionized water?
Ans. Some benefits of ionized water are:
-
Alkaline ionized water is a powerful antioxidant, which neutralizes free radicals. It is also a liquid antioxidant so it is easily absorbed into the body which makes it much more effective and a strong antioxidant.
-
During the neutralization of free radicals, the hydroxyl ions donates its extra electrons to free radicals and a lot of extra oxygen is left in the water. Thus ionized water provide energy and mental clarity.
-
Our diet consists of a lot of acidic food in the form of meat, fish, soft drinks, fast foods, etc. Ionized water balanced body pH as it is very alkaline.
-
Ionized water is more hydrating and detoxifying than conventional water. It can penetrate the cell wall faster and more easily than the normal water. It easily get into the finest of capillaries that conventional water cannot reach.
Q7. How does Ionized Water taste compared with conventional water?
Ans. Due to the different cluster size and shape of ionized water, it tastes smoother and lighter than the conventional water. It doesn't bloat you and fill you up the way conventional water can do if you drink a lot of it at once.
