The first thing to do after opening the packet is, loosen the chuck over drill and adjust the drill bit. Once you are through this, insert the blunt side of the bit into the chuck. Now, fasten the chuck with the key provided or by twisting the two parts in opposite direction against each other.

The place to be drilled needs to be marked and place the masonry bit against the mark to start drilling. Hold the drill tight with both hands, now i's time to pull the trigger and start your job with light pressure. Increase the pressure or the speed if required. You may also work the masonry bit in and out to remove the extra loose materials.
