Pumps for Marine Applications
Marine pumps are specially developed to withstand harsh environment of the sea. The submersible water pumps are specially designed to retrofit any existing pump location with flexible feet. These high pressure water pumps can be used for fresh water cooling, sea water cooling, fuel distribution, bilge, ballast, fire fighting, sanitary and other application. Based on the specific application, marine water pumps can be categorized into the following types:
Horizontal Pumps
Horizontal pumps are based on the diffuser principle. The self primping pumps is able to evacuate lifts horizontally up-to the suction line. It is provided with robust electric or hydraulic motors powered by heavy-duty engines. Prime impellers ensure efficient priming and complete evacuation of the line.

Cargo Pumps
Cargo pumps are submersible motor centrifugal pumps with acceptably low NPSH capability. The design of the pump should be compliant with IGC and IEC norms, as well with API 610. Driven by powerful electric motor, the pump rotates in clockwise direction for best efficiency. Convenient access to rotating parts and bearings allow easy repair and maintenance.

Marine Fuel Pumps
Marine fuel water pumps with corrosion resistant parts are best choice for environment where low noise and high durability are the major concerns. It is configured as a fixed in-tank fuel supply component. The latest inducer design ensures good pump behavior with lowest LNG level. Performance of the pump remains unaffected by wave induced motion during sea voyage.
Marine Aerator Pump or Spray Pumps
Marine Aerator Pumps or spray pumps comprises of balanced drum with a fixed axis. The other components include in-tank, stripping and spray head. These pumps are widely used for application in small boats and LNG carriers.
