There are different types of water treating systems available in the market. To name a few are RO plant, Distillation plant Water filter units etc. Before buying drinking water treatment system you should consider the following questions:

What is the quality of water and what are the contaminants you want to target?
What is the quantity of water you are intending to treat? For smaller establishments you can adopt small water filters whereas for larger units RO system and Distillation unit is preferred.
Cost of the water treatment device can be another consideration.

How to judge whether the unit is working properly? In water treatment system there is an alarm or indicator that alert you in case of malfunctioning.
