Electric Association of Chicago

Electric Association was established in 1926 with a aim of developing and improving the services offered to the public by the electrical industry. It increases the closeness amongst the electric supply companies, telephone & electric traction companies, telegraph companies, electrical contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers, engineers and other persons sharing similar interest. It's goal is to encourage and educate public for using electricity more intelligently.

It is involved in activities which depict the importance of electricity and suggests improvement method's to all levels of the industry. The goals of EA have remained the same even after experiencing a vast change in electrical industry over past years. Formal educational opportunities, professional improvement are two major things which EA provides to its members. It is also engaged in organizing meetings, outings and events to expand its network with colleagues, customers and friends.

Membership
Any contractor, distributor, manufacturer, agent, engineering firms, consulting firms, and electrical estimators willing to be a part of this association can register themselves online. After the completion of registration process, unique Member ID  information will be sent to the member. Members of this association receive discounted registration fees for all Chicagoland Electric Association Continuing Education Foundation classes. Some basic and modern tips in electrical, lighting, computer applications, voice and data technology, and professional development  are also provided to the members.
