Types of Automotive Fuse

Automotive fuse is used for the protection of wires and electrical equipments. Automotive fuse is commonly used as an electrical equipment in vehicles and rarely it is used as non automotive item.

Automotive fuse is a very small but essential component of the automobile that fuses when something goes wrong in the vehicle. Glass Fuse - it is the cylinder-shaped automotive fuse that has stainless steel ends and glass in the middle.

Plastic Housing Automotive Fuse - it is the another type of automotive fuse that has a plastic body and a fusible link encased in that body. The automotive fuse box is generally found behind a cover, which is under the dashboard, or below the steering wheel.

Lucas Type Automotive Fuse is used in old British made automobiles and has length 1 inch or 1.25 inch.
