Compression Latches

Compression latch are ideal for primary access panels. These latches are especially suitable for doors with gaskets where they provide minimum exterior surface extrusion. One of the striking features of compression latch is that they are self-adjustable. This features reduces the wearing of shaft threads that are usually associated with spring tension units.

 

Compression door latches are easy to access and install. They are available in both left-hand and right-hand version, though right-hand version is more popular. Installation of compression latch is extremely easy and just requires punching or cutting a single hole and then mounting compression latches from inside.

Compression latches are very versatile and are available in three styles of latching cams, one straight and two offset. They also have limited internal enclosure protrusion. Zinc finish and polished finishes are very common among compression latches.
