Gravity Flush System

Information

Product Showcase

In simple terms, a gravity assisted flush system is the one that uses the gravitational power to flush the waste. The simplest and perhaps even the oldest of the toilet flushing system designs are the gravity assisted flush toilets. Gravity assisted flush toilets follow the mechanism of water pressure working on the waste flushing along with the gravitational pull that assist the flushing mechanism triggered by the water pressure. Both forces, together in action push all the waste from the bowl to the trap way that is usually a S-shaped trap way. The other shapes of the trap way are also available, but the S-shaped trap way is the most popular of all of these. A siphoning action completes the flushing process.

A gravity fed flushing system uses the water force to flush out the waste from the bowl. The cascading water pushes the waste from the toilet bowl to the closet waste pipe. While the waste is pushed through the waste pipe into the trap way, fresh water runs to fill in the empty water tank. The water tank uses a float ball system to decipher when to stop the water supply refilling the tank.

Gravity Assisted Flushing System - Disadvantages
Most important disadvantage of the gravity fed flush systems is that it consumes a lot of water. With changing times and a need for attention to environmental issues, less water consuming flushing systems have been invented, which are far better and convenient. Even though the pressure assisted toilets are the new style of toilets and much more convenient and better, the gravity fed models continue to be highly popular and demanded.
