Squat Toilets
Another eco friendly flush system option is the squat toilets. These solve the eco friendly option but look-wise these are poor. The squat toilets are made on the ground where small amount of water either with mug or bucket is poured into the bowl until the waste is removed. The squat toilets are cheap and easy to maintain. Also these are hygienic than any other eco friendly flush system as there is no direct contact between the toilet and person sitting on it. Also these do not use any electricity so there will be reduction in bother electricity as well as water bills.

 

Eco Friendly Low Flush Toilets
These are so designed that use of water is very less in these toilets. Wastewater from the flushing system is sent to water treatment plants and from here the treated water is sent down to underground water. This process requires lots of energy. So if everyone will use the eco friendly low flush toilets then less wastewater will be required to be treated. Hence electricity consumption will be low.
