How Bathroom Taps Operate?
The major components of the bathroom taps are Ceramic disc and spindle through which the inner mechanism of a tap operates. Ceramic disc technology is technologically superior and are more durable and are available in expensive taps. In this technology the turning of lever results in the parting of the ceramic disc which allows the pouring of water.
The traditional spindle design consist of spindle through the core, with the valve seat attached via a screw thread. At the end of the valve seat tap washer is fixed. The turning of the knob results in the moving of the valve seat up and down to adjust the flow of water.
