In some of the clawfoot tubs there are holes drilled for for faucets, overflow and drain. These holes are drilled normally at the straight end of the tub. These types of styles are prevalent in U.S and are popularly called as American Style Clawfoot bath tubs.

 

Buyers Considerations
If you are dealer in clawfoot tubs ensure that it should be antique only in look not in features. You should enquire that whether it has faucet holes or not. One thing more you should also find out about the nature of faucet installation. That is whether faucets can be installed on the wall or on the tub itself. Faucet design should be in congruency with the Tub design. Moreover make sure that what type of feet your claw foot tub posses. Whether it has pedestal or has wheel. This aspect is important and it shouldn't be ignored.
