Owning bathroom fixtures is not enough you must also take their care on the regular basis so that the freshness and the glaze of your product remain intact.The cleanliness of toilet seat is very essential as it is unhygienic to use dirty toilet seats. Hence the toilet should be cleaned from time to time on a regular basis. Toilet seats are available in different types of materials and their look depends on how well they are cleaned.

For cleaning purpose you can use mild detergent. However the use of abrasive cleaner should be avoided. Hard disinfectants and the cleaning products in aerosol cans should also be not used.

Take care to wipe any cleaner spill, especially from bumpers and hinges of toilet seats. You can also restore the luster and shine of the toilet seat with an application of no-wax polish. Apply white automotive polishing compound with a clean rag, to restore dull or scratched units. Scratches and the dull areas should be rubbed vigorously. All the residues should be wiped off. Areas where you walked or stand should not be waxed.
