Door latch : Repair it yourself

Door latches are subject to frequent use. The main door protects from harsh weather condition hence; making the metal door latches prone rusting. So the door latch needs to be maintained properly and attention is required. Due to exposure to high climate, the door latch plate might disjoin and disturb in operating the door smoothly. Sometimes the latches are totally damaged and needs to replace or may be shimmed to align into right place and connect to the door catch.
