As the name suggests, foot-rest in two wheelers provide space for resting foot while riding. Generally, there are two foot rests, one each for the driver and the passenger. Mostly they are mounted on two sides of the vehicle. But in some vehicles, there is only one foot rest on the passenger side.

Two wheeler foot rest are usually made of strong and durable materials. They are commonly made of:

Aluminium

Features of Foot Rest

Mounts with pegs or boards.
Provided with a rubber pad to hold the feet better.
Can be folded.
Includes foot rest brackets that are adapted to be secured on opposite sides of two wheeler.
Usually made of steel or aluminium.

The main purpose of the two wheeler foot rest is to give optimum support and comfort to the feet of rider and passenger.
