Woven Polyester Tapes

Allowing greater versatility, woven polyester tapes are made from polyester yarn by weaving it on narrow fabric looms. The tapes are rolled on to a core to a required length. Core size and tape lengths are as per customer requirements. The tapes are in looms state condition with uniform selvedges. They have excellent di-electric properties and are good upto thermal class - 'F', along with heat shrinkable properties.

 

The thickness of woven polyester tapes are usually from 0.13mm to 0.25mm and various width from 10mm to 130mm can be used.

 

Application
Polyester woven tape finds application in electrical industries for insulation purpose, armoring of mica based insulation, finishing and tying of coils in electrical rotating machines upto class-'F'. The choice of polyester tape to be used for a particular job depends on the thickness, width and strength of the tape required.
