Difference Between Napkin and Serviette
Although the two terms- napkin and serviette are used as synonyms, there are certain minor differences between the two. In some countries like United Kingdom and Canada both terms, serviette and napkin, are used. In the UK, napkins are traditionally U and serviette non-U. In some places, those made of paper (paper napkins) are called serviettes and napkins are typically understood as those which are made of cloth.
