Bridal Coat

Bridal coat is a long overcoat, also known as bridal jacket. It is worn by the bride over her wedding dress. For weddings taking place during winter season, brides wear winter bridal coats over their dress. Bridal coats and wraps are every winter brides dream. It makes a style statement and helps in avoiding the chilling winter breeze. It is important to differentiate between bridal shrugs and coats. A bridal shrug is also worn over bridal dress but unlike the bridal coat, it is usually made of net and is short in length. Bridal coats are usually made of wool or fur, but some coats have an exterior layer of satin fabric and have fur lining inside and on border. Other warm fabrics like Taffeta, moiré and velvet are also used in making coats for bride. They are commonly available in white color but can also be found in other light shades. It is the best option for a winter bride which will make her look stunning and stay warm as well. These coats are often embellished with decorative detailing of embroidery or beads.
