Majority of men prefer to wear those fashion belts that are especially designed for conventional use in the professional arena. Mens fashion belts should be worn in such a fashion, that helps in marking good taste and persona of the wearer. These belts should also express professionalism, as they are not meant to stand out, instead they are worn to complement the rest of the professional gaze.

 

Fashion belts for men are mainly found in two kinds of fabrics, braided canvas and another one is leather. Mens fashion belts should always be in matching with the shoes, so it's better not to select such colors o f leather belts, the color which one won't choose for their shoes. In the same way fabric belt should go analogous with the trousers of the men. But this again narrows down mens option in choosing the colors of the belt and leather belts gets limited to black and brown. In case of fabric belts men get the option to choose from khaki, navy, tan and gray.

 

As defined above, leather belts should always be identical to the shoes of the wearer. Black shoes require a black belt to be worn, brown shoes requires brown belt, and so on. Now identical doesn't means exactly same color but they need to be of the same family, that will serve the purpose. Finally when both belt and shoes go hand in hand visually, looks awesome.

 

Fabric belts, in comparison to leather belts serve a different purpose. They are mens casual options that are used to give contrast to something else that men is wearing. Select something in contrast with the pant. Suppose if a man is wearing a white colored pant, then a navy blue colored pant works great to add contrast. On the flip side, dark pants like navy blue or black looks much trendier when worn with a contrasting white or cream shade belt.
