Though this trendy footwear is suitable for all seasons but it is generally worn in winter, so when it is not in use, it should be stored safely, otherwise they might get damaged in the next season. They should be stored dirt and dust free, in other words they should be wrapped and kept in a cloth and all dirt and dust should be removed using a brush. Before beginning to clean them, some leather clare tips should be known. Leather cleaning solution should be applied using a soft cloth and rubbed gently to take off stains. After applying cleaning solution, they should be left to dry. When they get dry, buff them using a soft clot and until a soft rich glow is achieved. To maintain their shape, do not forget to stuff them with tissue paper. Leather protector spray should be sprayed and left to dry for atleast one hour. Tough stains can be removed using a damp soft cloth dipped in half vinegar and half vinegar solution. It is important to remember that a nylon bristle brush should be used for removing stains. Only matching shoe polish should be used to fill scratches on boots(if any).
