Designer Bindi

A forehead bindi is a popularly embraced forehead decoration, worn by women mostly in South and Southeast Asia, especially India. The word 'Bindi' means a dot in Hindi. Women have historically been wearing a bindi on their forehead.

The traditional bindi was made with red sindoor powder, and connoted the married status of a woman, but in the modern times, bindi has become a popular fashion accessory. Stick-on designer bindis are very popular these days and are made of different materials.

The bindi jewellery has now become a decorative item and is worn by unmarried as well as women from different religions in countries including India, Bangladesh in the South Asian Region.

 

Self adhesive bindis are the most accepted and easy to wear. This fashion accessory is available in varying colors, shapes, sizes and studded with stones, gems, sequins, beads etc.

Crystal studded designer bindis are being exported to a number of western countries. Bridal bindis are specially designed using exotic and jazzy beads and stones for making it more glittering.
