The Carpet Cushion Council (CCC) founded in 1976 was established to supply information on the latest carpet related developments which could help carpet cushion manufacturers, distributors, dealers, & installers to understand, sell & install separate carpet cushion. With American & Canadian manufacturers of prime polyurethane foam, bonded polyurethane, sponge rubber, natural fiber and synthetic fiber cushion functioning as the major members, the organization even features cushion industry suppliers such as chemical producers and equipment suppliers as its major members.

Services
CCC has its own set of objectives needed to be executed by the council for remarkable growth of the industry. They are the priorities of the organization & needs to be fulfilled.

Provides information on the selling & use of quality separate carpet cushion to dealers and installers.
For making better looking & long lasting carpet, it demonstrates the quality importance.
Establishes guidelines for use & tests different types of carpet cushion.
Helps lawmakers understand carpet cushion & monitors legislation & regulations to update the industry of changes.
Gathers statistics on the quantity of cushions sold after conducting industry survey.

The CCC has continued to work with Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) & the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ever since its inception to develop an accurate information base about cushion. Alongwith HUD, it has even created the industry's first guidelines for cushion usi in commercial installation.

The association is incessantly researching on carpet cushion-related issues which focuses issues like :

Different types of cushion perform
Ways to further educate the industry on the use of quality cushion
The availability of statistical information about cushion.

All these researches have helped in maintaining a growing database of information about carpet cushion shared equally with the floor covering industry & consumers.
