Silk has always been a favorite of ladies all over the world and thus, being careful about it comes naturally to them. Pinning any fabric specially the ones like silk, can end up in rendering cuts or damage to it. Thus, it is important to know the correct way of pinning silk shawls so as to maintain their durability. -The very first thing to understand is the exact type of silk used in the shawl. There are a couple of silk blends that are sturdier than the other ones. For example, owing to the wool content, pashmina silk shawls are relatively sturdier than the other silk blends. Of them all, silk chiffon is the lightest and the most delicate fabric blend. Thus, silk shawls are most often made up of either brocaded silk or of charmeuse silk as these are able to provide warmth as well as are considered classy too.
