Fabulous 5 Ways to Wear A Head Scarf!

Head scarf may have been invented to protect us from scorching heat or icy cold weather but it has come to occupy the coveted place of being the ultimate fashion accessory and I bet no one is against that statement! So, what is your style statement regarding a head scarf? What are your ways to wear a head scarf Or tying a scraf? Do you still stick to that old scarf style and place it evenly over the back of your neck and wrap one or both ends back around the front of the neck? Or you allow the ends of your head scarf hang loose in front of your body? What different ways do you adopt to tie your head scarves Or scarf tying? Ok, I am here to answer these questions and not ask you about what you have been doing with your head wraps! So, here I go and disclose to you the 5 most fabulous ways to tie a scarf and I know, you are going to love them all!

 

Wear a Head Scarf as Headband!
This is so different way to tie a scarf as headband. Just fold the scarf in wide sections and place the center at your hairline above your forehead. Now draw the ends of your head scarf to the back of your head and tie a knot or bow, keeping your hair under the scarf from front to back. This will sure draw the kind of attention you want!

 

Wear Du Rag Scarf Style!
This is a bit trickier than all other scarf styles but with a little effort and practice, you can just look gorgeous! Position your head scarf slightly below the hairline along the forehead so as to prevent slippage and cover the entire head with the rest of the scarf. Tie the scarf at the very base of your scalp into a knot. This type of scarf headdress is usually worn with the scarf covering the ears for a more snug fit. You can even give a stylish twist to your du rag scarf (like in the picture above but you'll need a really long scarf for this) to make it more attractive!

 

Wear Scarf Under Hat!
This is a step forward to du rag scarf style. Wear a du rag style of scarf lower on the face above the eyebrows. Pull it over the entire head and tie back. Now wear a fedora or similar style of stylish hat on top of the scarf. It sure will give you an edge over all other scarf wearers!
 

Stylish Ponytail Wrap Scarf Style!
Roll a little longer than usual head scarf and hold both ends of the scarf against the back of your head. Now bring it to the front of your head and wrap it around again to the back. Tie scarf tightly and if necessary use pins to secure it so that it remains as you want it to be. Position your pony wrap style scarf either in the back of your head or on the side as if it is a side ponytail!

 

Tying a Stunning Tie Die Scarf!
Simple can be stunning too! If you are a fashionista sans the desire to put so much of efforts to wear a head scarf, just get a gorgeous scarf- it can be anything, a bohemian scarf or a tie die scarf and wear it in the traditional ways. Drape it around neck or tie knots but just remember to get bright colored head scarves and match them with not so prominent colors of your dress!
